Are you ready for the biggest event of Demons?
Halloween is on its way from Hell to Earth.
Are you creative enough to plan an event for this special occasion of the year for KEMT Group?
Everyone is curious about its history and celebrations. Why don't you show us what you've got?
Task
Devide yourself into groups of 3.
Each group will work as an event planner team. Your job is to plan a one-day event on Halloween day for KEMT Group.
(KEMT Group is one of the biggest groups in the field of finance. In Vietnam, there are more than 150 employees working at KEMT's building every day. This year, KEMT wants to celebrate Halloween day with their Vietnamese employees.)
You are required to give a 15-minute presentation to the CEO of KEMT in order to persuade them to have you manage the Halloween event.
Hurry up ! The presentation day is October 15th, 2014.
Process
You should follow these steps below in order to accompish your goal :
1. Research on the history and celebrations of Halloween
2. Brainstorm your ideas
3. Work on your detail plan : venue, date, time, food, music…
4. Design the event’s brochure
5. Prepare for the presentation
6. Rehearse
7. Present your plan to everyone
Evaluation
Your presentation will be evaluated with these criteria :
- How creative your ideas are
- How professional and applicable your plan is
- How sophisticated your language use is
- How accurate your information is
Conclusion
This project is for you to practise your language as well as lead yourself to creativity. By working on this project, not only your language skills will be amazingly improved but you will gain a lot of experience in group work and expressing your own ideas.
