Welcome to counting numbers/ recognizing numbers

Students will be able to- count numbers as well as seeing the number written. Students will start from small basic numbers to reach a higher level. They will be able to recognize the numbers as well as the number written down, matching them to the correct number and being able to spell.

Students will also be able to match the numbers to the objects of what ever they are assigned to work on. This is for them to be challenged and be able to use different methods of counting how many objects there really are. Students will also be able to see the numbers written and be asked to compare them with the correct number. This will also help them see it written down so they will be able to learn how to spell the word as well.

Students will now be able to play a game for a treat and not just for a treat they will be playing but this will show what they need to know by now. They will be able to place a cookie on the correct number place and if they get them correct they will be able to move to the higher numbers. If they get them wrong they will have to continue on the same ones if they are on the smaller or mid numbers, They will stay till the student is able to recognize the numbers. If student moves on without knowing it will be more harder for them later on when they move to a higher level. So this is why I am asking for them to stay on the same and keep on with more practice on the same numbers they are struggling on.

While students are working on placing the number on correct place teacher will be able to walk around and check if the students are correct. If they are students who are struggling at this time, this is when the teacher will be able to help them. 

By this time students should be able to recognize all the numbers and match them to the correct number as well as spelling them. It can be very difficult for kids at this time but this is while you try to make it more fun as well as helping them. It is there level in there work so they should be able to understand by this time with having help as well from the teacher. 

This page is to help early learners be able to learn the small first numbers. It helps the students in other math cases when they are counting at home in the store or wherever it the students being to recognize the numbers and knowing how to spell and tell which number is which.
