Numbers everywhere

Introduction

Numbers

Numbers are everywhere.

  • From spending money at the school canteen,
  • Telling the time until school is finished,
  • Knowing how much your favourite sports team is winning by,
  • How far is the school office from your classroom or
  • How much the pumpkin in the school garden weighs?

Are all numbers the same? or do they work differently in different areas. The purpose of this lesson is learning and understanding how numbers work in different circumstances.
