Get ready for an breath-taking adventure. You are going to travel back in time to 1850 to a tobacco plantation in Kentucky. Imagine that you are a slave that deeply desires to be free - free to say what you want, free to earn money, free to experience the rights of America. Freedom, however, will not be free. It may even cost you your life. You have heard others talk about a path to freedom called the Underground Railroad. It is not a railroad. It is a secret route from the slave states of the South to Canada (freedom!).
