🚀 Journey Through the Solar System

Introduction

Imagine you and your team are space explorers  sent by NASA on a mission to discover the wonders of our Solar System. Your goal is to investigate the the planets, moons, and other fascinating informations that can be found in the Solar System.

Task

Form into a group with 4-5 members and create a Space Exploration Presentation of Solar System.

Process

Your group will be assign to a planet, and will do the following steps:

  1. Research about the planet according to their size and appearance, its orbit and distance away from the Sun, number of its moon(s) and their names, type of planet (rocky or gaseous), and their order in the Solar System.
  2. Make a PowerPoint or Canva (either of the two) presentation.
  3. Present your findings in the class.

Evaluation

Criteria 4 – Excellent 3 – Good 2 – Developing 1 – Beginning
Research & Accuracy Information is accurate, complete, and supported by reliable sources. Information is mostly accurate and supported by sources. Some information is incomplete or needs clarification. Information is inaccurate or lacks supporting evidence.
Understanding Clearly explains the planet, their moons, and other important information related. Explains major information about the planet appropriately. Identifies the planet but gives limited explanations. Provides few or incorrect information about the planet.
Preparedness Provides detailed and accurate information about the planet assigned. Provides basic accurate information about the planet. Provides some information but lacks other details of the planet. Provides few or inaccurate information about the planet.
Final Product Very clear, creative, organized, and informative. Clear, organized, and informative. Some organization or presentation problems. Difficult to understand or incomplete.
