Introduction
The victorian period was a period from 1837 to 1901, during this time period, England experienced rapid changes and developments in every aspect, from advances in technology in the medical and science fields, to the booms of population and spread of cities, many of the innovations from this time are the reasons we have much of our technology today.
Medicine has always been a part of human civilization, and during the victorian time period, the medical world completely changed. The victorian period was a time of scientific and research boom, new methods for sanitation were being used and new technology was created, technology which can be credited for the technology we use today.
