Parallel lines

Introduction

INTRODUCTION:

Today you will be participating in a webquest that will help you understand Parallel lines, transversals, congruent and corresponding angles, and all things that will help you understand parrallel lines. Fist of all you will need to either break into partners/groups so do so before continuing through to the following tasks.

This webquest will be challenging and is meant to advance and help the understanding of an HONORS geometry student. Before starting this webquest be prepared to know and answer questions like the following:

1.) What are the easiest ways to conclude that two lines that share a transversal are parralel?

2.) What theorems and deffenitions can you use to help you find the values of parrallel lines.

Be sure to use your time wisely while in class. If you need any assistance ask your current class teacher or substitute. The following tasks and assignments are meant to challenge and help you creatively think about this subject in geometry. All links to help you along your Webquest will be included as well as all the tools you will need to succeed and get the best grade possible on this assignment. GOOD LUCK!!!

Task

TASK

Today you will become an expert on Parallel lines!!!!

The proccess of this webquest will include you answering questions and filling out worksheets, questions, and following the steps to Quest the Web. Some if Not all worksheets will be provided to you by your teacher while the problems on this webquest will need to be completed on a seperate sheet of paper. If you do not have any material to write with or on then ask your teacher now. Get into partners/groups if you have not already done so.
