Friedrichs Math WebQuest

Introduction

Do you ever wonder why you spend time learning different types of math? Do you ever ask the question, "When am I ever going to use this math?" Well guess no more! You are about to go on a WebQuest to find some answers.

Task

Your quest will take you on an exploration of ways specific types of math are used in everyday life! You will find the importance of math in a career and create a presentation about math in your career choice. You may choose to create an iMovie, Keynote, Prezi, or other presentation format to share your findings.

Some questions for you to think about during your search are:

1. What types of highschool/college math classes are needed for my career?

2. Describe a typical day in your job.

3.  What is the average salary range of your career?
