Kid Power

Introduction

Hey you! Yeah you! Here's a little pep talk to get you started from Kid President:

So, what will you create?

Sometimes, you may feel like you are not capable or do not have the resources to make a difference in the world! Well, guess what? There are people your age who are making an impact in their world! Most times, what you do does not have to reach the entire world, it usually starts with YOU influencing the people around you and causing a ripple effect.*

The question we will be emphasizing today is: What can you do today that can cause a small ripple of kindness and/or positivity in this big ocean we call Earth?

*Don't know what the ripple effect is? Here is a video to illustrate it for you: Kindness Boomerang by Life Vest

Now that you have had a little boost of energy from Kid President, it's time to create a ripple effect!

Your task will be to create an attainable goal for yourself to start a ripple effect of kindness and/or positivity. You will answer the following questions, typed and printed:

Who? Who will you be targeting? Yourself? Your family? Someone in your class? An oprhan across the world?

What? What will your attainable goal be? Cleaning the dishes every other night after family dinner? Giving at least one different classmate a compliment a day? Creating a care package for soldiers in the Middle East?

When? When will you achieve this goal? Tonight? Tomorrow? By this summer?

Where? Where will you ahieve this goal? In school? At home? Through the Internet?

Why? Why have you picked this goal?

HowHow will you achieve this goal? What will you measure it by? What steps will you take to accomplish this goal?
