Introduction
During the last sessions we were reviewing prepositions of place. And this work will help students to reinforce them. Prepositions of place will allow students to be more proficiency during giving instructions by the time they are practicing their knowledge, they´ll be more secure about their english level.
Task
Step 1: Look at the picture and and try to remember every small detail from it.
Step 2: After that, join your partners in teams of 4 and discuss what did you see on the picture.
Step 3: Write down on a sheet of paper the things and their locations (as you remember them)
Step 4: Presents you writing next class, with the correct structure form: introduction, body (presentation), and conclusion, what did you learn with this excersice.
Step 5: write the correct proposition of place of these statements:
1. The butterfly is _____________ the air.
2. The laidybird is_______________ a leaf.
3. The worm is_______________ a stone.
4 The ants are_________________ the grass.
5. The spider is_________________a branch.
6. The bee is____________________ a flwer.
Process
During this exercise, you as student have to look at the picture, then you have to write down all the words names from the image that you´ve aready know including their color like these:
1. Sun. The sun is color yellow.
2. Sky. The sky is blue.
3.
4.
And so on.
After doing that step, complete the statements below with the correct preposition of place. If you want you can look at the picture again.
Evaluation
Each student will be evaluate according to his or her participatition or contributions on the exposition. Also oral exposition will have a value of the 20 % of their final grade.
Conclusion
English is one of the most importan languages around the world. Everything since simple daily lifes, education, even marketing, is managed in terms of a second language. So it is important for teachers to motivate students in having a second speaking language because it will give them a wide range of work oportunities when they become adults.
And Working on prepositions of place, it is just one of thousands important topics of english, with this, students achieve more knowledge and are ready to go to the next step.
