Introduction
We have taken a look at the laws Jackie Robinson grew up with. Today we are going to get some background knowledge on the man himself to help us get to know him better.
Task
Your team has been hired to gather information about Jackie Robinson to help prove that he is worthy of The Hero Hall of Fame! Each person on your team will be responsible for answering 2-3 questions about Jackie Robinson. As a group you will choose one of the following ways to create a "highlight reel" of Jackie Robinson's life:
Freeze Frame- choose 3 events from his life and create a physical tableau of each event
Draw it out- choose 5 events from his life and draw a detailed picture of each event
Write stuff- create a timeline covering 7 important events in his life

Today you have taken your first step towards determining if Jackie Robinson deserves to be in the Hero Hall of Fame. Tomorrow we are going to look at Jackie's own words regarding what he dealt with.
