Introduction

You have decided to go abraod to study in the United States with the dream of attending a prestige school. With numerous schools to choose from, think of the possibility of enrolling at an Ivy League school. In this webquest, students will use different sources to learn about the 8 Ivy League schools and decide which is the best option for them. 

Task

You will research different Ivy League schools to see which ones would be a good option for you and your postsecondary education needs. You will be required to create a brochure that will document 3 of the top schools of your choice.

Process 3: Refer to the resources that you have researched to make a list of the following information for 3 of the top Ivy League schools of your choice. 

  • location
  • tuition (in-state and out-of-state)
  • room/board
  • at least 2 different majors the school offers that you are interested in
  • student enrollment
  • student life
  • college's website
  • 3 photos of each college/school

Process 4: Create a brochure using powerpoint, Microsoft publisher, or craft your own that showcases the 3 Ivy League schools of your choice.

Be sure to include all the information that you have found from process 3 in the brochure. The brochure should be divided into sections. If you decide to craft your own brochure using paper, you should include a cover page, Left inside page (first Ivy League school choice) Middle section (second Ivy League school choice), Right inside page (third Ivy League school choice). The back cover can be your choice. (Be creative).

  • You will be evaluated using the following rubric. TWO SEPARATE GRADES: WEBQUEST FINDINGS & PRESENTATION

    Please review the rubric ahead of time to make sure that you have included everything on the rubric in the “Exceptional” category.
