Introduction

Welcome to the Islam WebQuest! By the end of this WebQuest, you will have learned about the religion itself, the caliphates and empires it produced, how the religion started, and how it affects the world!

Islam is a religion, common in the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. Its followers, Muslims, believe in one god, Allah, and believe the prophet Muhammad's message about the Day of Judgement.

Task

By the end of this WebQuest, you will have a timeline of Islamic history in brief, mapped the major Islamic empires, and have taken notes on the religion. Overall, you should have a better understanding of Islam and its history.

Process

This WebQuest will use a step-by-step process in (Arabic)numerical order.

Your first objective will be to create a timeline of important events in Islamic history. You can use these resources:
