Introduction
All living things reproduce and the similarities and differences between animals and their offspring variate from one species to another. Although each living thing is different from others, the phases of its life cycle are predictable.
It will be your job to investigate, observe and record these life cycle phases. The information that you find will help your team to share in informing other classmates about the differences and similarities between living organisms.
Task
You will be assigned to 1 of 5 teams, each team consisting of 4-5 members. Each team will be assigned an animal to research. Your team will become informed of the stages and time period of the life cycle of the animal that you are researching, the things it needs to survive, and some other interesting facts about your animal.
Your team will use internet resources to gather information and answer the questions that you are asked. Your team will then put the information together in order to make:
1. A report to the class
2. A strip drawing (like a comic strip) of the stages of the animal's life cycle
3. Other pictures or information you would like to add.
