Introduction
This Webquest is geared to learning more about the Educational Laws in the state of Ohio. There are five separate tasks included in this webquest that we will touch into further detail by the conclusion of this.
Task
Tasks:
1. What is Ohio's definition of Free Appropriate Education? and what if the school district of residence fails to provide FAPE and they enroll their child in a nonpublic school setting? (If Approved)
2. When should we must start planning transition in Ohio? Prior to July 1, 2005, what age was the federal law stating we should start? and what is the federal age now?
3. What does ESSA stand for? and what is one of the new reporting requirements now after the Covid-19 pandemic that helps make sure that ESS?
4. What does LRE stand for? What is the maximum number of students with emotional disturbances an Intervention Specialist can serve? How many can be served in one instructional period?
5. Transition Services: How many children with disabilities can a work-study serve?

Evaluation
1. Each school district shall adopt and implement written policies and procedures, approved by the Ohio department of education, office for exceptional children, ensuring that a free appropriate public education (FAPE) is made available to all children with disabilities between the ages of three and twenty-one, inclusive, including children with disabilities who have been suspended or expelled from school, for whom the school district is the child's school district of residence. The Family can be reimbursed for the tuition of the child attending the nonpublic school.

Conclusion
These are five of the laws that are issued by the State of Ohio, some of them are new, some of them are changing by the years.
