Introduction

Sure we have lots of great technology and conveniences today, but can you imagine what life would be like without these great inventions. Imagine what life would be like without computers, cell phones, televisions, microwaves, cars, farming equipment, etc. It would undoubtedly be much different! During the 1800's many inventors and scientists started to work on inventions that would make life easier for themselves. It was because of their determination and hard work that we have many of the inventions that we have today. 

Task

Your task is to become an expert on one of the inventors of the 1800s! You will research their life, their inventions, and how their inventions helped Americans live an easier life.
