Introduction to the Industrial Revolution in Europe

Introduction

The next unit that we will be covering is the Industrial Revolution. In particular, we will be looking at the revolution from a European standpoint, and of course it is going to start in Britain. The industrial revolution in Britain, much like in America, was a time of great advancement, leading to many different aspects of life to become much easier for every day life. However, with all of the great advancements came many issues that societies never truly had to deal with like pollution for example. Great Britain was among the first countries to truly go through an industrial revolution, and was one of the first to see the issues that came about with it.
