Introduction to food chains.

Introduction

As part of the classification and ecology unit, it is important to understand what a food chain is, how it is constructed, the different levels of a food chain and how energy is transferred from one organism to another.

The following webquest will introduce you to key terms used within this topic and allow you to view and provide examples of basic food chains.

Go to the process tab and answer each of the questions using the resource (website or image) provided.

Ensure you write your responses in full sentences using appropriate scientific vocabulary.
