How often do you use integers in your daily life? More than you think!! Integers are used everyday watching a sporting event, checking the temperature outside and playing games. Can you use the knowledge you have learned in the classroom to identify and work with integers that are found in your everyday world? Through this series of these activities, you will answer the following questions:
- What is the connection between negative numbers and the real world?
- What rules exist for for performing operations with integers?
- How can I prove to myself that these rules are true?
Task
