Introduction

Hi Guys-

During our Influential People Unit, we will learn about people who have made an impact/influenced society.   We will read and try to find connections between artists Raphael, Mary Cassatt, and Pablo Casals. We will read about musicians Beethoven and Marian Anderson.  We then move to historic people and learn about the life and internal beliefs of President Kennedy, Mohandas Gandhi, and Thurgood Marshall. We will read and analyze the character traits that make them influential by finding evidence from the stories we read and the lives they led.

During this brief webquest we will define what an influential person is, explore character traits of influential people, create an influential trait scrapbook, and consider ways we can be more influential ourselves.

I appreciate you and look forward to going on this journey together! Mrs.Frost
