Introduction

Task
We will begin by watching the video over immune system. We will then move into the lesson where we will get into three groups. Each group will consist of an activity. In the first group the students will read and discuss the article from http://sepa.duq.edu/data/EducationImgDocs/Immunology%20Module%20Teacher_2011.pdf. It will take about 15 minutes , and I will highlight the important parts throughout the article to save time. Once they move from this group they will go to the second group where they complete the handout and crossword. file:///C:/Users/Patron%2009/Downloads/HowYourImmuneSystemWorksNOWFREE.pdf. This activity will also take about 15 minutes then they will move into the last group where they will talk about spreading germs while using glitter and soap by putting soap on their hands then glitter then shaking each others hands while they discover how the glitter moves from one person to another. Then they will write a paragraph about what they discovered.
Process
The process of learning about the immune system will consist of a video and 3 activities in which the student will discover the importance of the immune system , and they will also become aware of what it does to prevent diseases and infections. They will also engage in research to build upon their understanding after the lesson is completed.
Evaluation
The evaluation process will take place throughout the assessment of activities in each group, and they will compose a paragraph in the last activity about what they learned throughout the activities.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the immune system is a vital part of the body in order to stay healthy. We will review the activities and have a group discussion to close the importance of the immune system. Students will be encouraged to use the internet to add to the discussion in closing.
