Immigration Point of View

Introduction

In this activity, students will search the internet for valuable and accurate information about the affects Mexican immigration to America has on various people and groups. Students will search the different sites given on this Webquest to find interviews, articles, or blogs that come from reliable sources that specifically discuss the issue of Mexican immigration in America. They will then contrive their own interview with a person who can be Chicano, a Mexican immigrant, an American Border Patrol person, or an American citizen who is not of Mexican heritage to create a point of view about this issue to then present in a class discussion.

  • Who is the person you are interviewing?  (Name)

  •

What is their role in Mexican immigration?  (Chicano, Mexican immigrant…)
