Introduction

Hello girls, 

In this webquest you are going to learn about ‘if clause; type zero, one, two, and three’. In addition, you are going to learn how to differentiate between the usage and the form of these types.

Question 1: - Complete each sentence of these with the correct answer: - 

1. If he …………. (not/heat) ice, it doesn’t melt. 

2. If I had seen the accident, I ……. (call) the police.

3. You……. (understand) conditional sentences if you ……...(practise) carefully. 

4. If I had a lot of money, I ……. (buy) a Ferrari.

Question 2: - Choose the right answer from those given to complete these sentences: - 

1. I think you should use an anti-virus programme.

A. If I am you, I should use an anti-virus programme.

B. If I was you, I would use an anti-virus programme. 

C. If I were you, I would use an anti-virus programme. 

2. I wish I were there to stop her from jumping and breaking her arm.

A. If I had been there, I would have stopped her from jumping and breaking her arm.

B. If she doesn’t jump, she won’t break her arm.

C. If I were there, she won’t break her arm.

3. Omar’s mother said ‘If Omar got a good grade at the exam, I would give him 100 dollars.

A. If Omar got a good grade, his mother will give him 100 dollars.

B. If Omar gets a good grade, his mother will give him 100 dollars. 

C. If Omar had got a good grade, he would have get 100 dollars.

4. The water exposes to heat. The water boils.

A. If Salma heats water, it boils.

B. If Salma heat water, it boils.

C. If Salma heats water, it boil.
