Introduction
Greetings all! This is a project where we get to recite a speech to our peers. However, this will be with a difference.
How will it be different?
We will be using speeches from public figures past and present.
This is an individual project, so get yourself ready to embark on a wonderful journey of public speaking.
Task
Let's Begin!
You would have had a chance to choose your public speaker to represent in this project.
However, before you represent your speech, you would have to get to know your public figure first. Therefore, you will be given the history about this person together with one of their famous speeches. You would then take 2-5 minutes of that speech and present it on your own in front of the entire camp. Remember, this is not the time to be shy. To make yourself more comfortable, you can dress like your public figure, so that your speech would feel more realistic.
Process
You are only allowed to click on the links for the public figure you would have chosen in class.
Also note that your do not have to learn the entire extract you choose to present. You can write it and read it out, however, you must remember to keep eye contact with the audience.
