The Hunger Games: One Panem

We are studying the Hunger Games this semester in EPIC Humanities. 

The Hunger Games is based in post-apocalyptic North America. From the ashes of the old world rises a new one - Panem.

Our wonderful and benevolent President Coriolanus Snow has given you the honour of documenting Panem and all its glory.

President Snow has given you 2 tasks to complete using this Webquest.

Task One: You will fill out the document (worksheet provided to you by your teacher) detailing the beginnings of Panem and where we have taken our inspiration.

Task Two: You will create an advertising pitch encouraging people to visit/ move to your district. President Snow would like the following to be mentioned in your pitch:

- what industry the district is in charge of and why it is important to the Capitol

- what jobs are available in that district

 - why should citizens move to your district.
