Introduction
Imagine living in a world where freedom of speech, education, and safety are not guaranteed. Throughout history, people have fought hard to gain the rights we enjoy today. But with rights also come responsibilities. In this WebQuest, you will become human rights advocates who will explore the importance of rights and responsibilities, and how they shape a fair and just society.

• Basic human rights every student should enjoy.
• Responsibilities students must practice to protect their rights and those of others.
• A campaign slogan to promote respect for human rights in school.
Process
1. Form groups of 4–5 students.
2. Research the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and examples of rights and responsibilities in your community.
3. Discuss which rights are most important for students and why.
4. Create a list of at least five rights and five responsibilities.
5. Design your “Bill of Rights and Responsibilities for Students” using visuals, slogans, or digital tools.
