Welcome to this webquest on the human excretory system! In this webquest, you will embark on a journey to discover the vital role of the human excretory system. You will learn about the organs involved, their functions, and the importance of keeping this system healthy. Let's dive in!
Task

Here is a list of the tasks that you will complete.
You will:
1. do a research on what is excretion.
2. list all the necessary parts of the human excretory system and tell the function of each part.
3. show and explain the process of excretion.
4. create a model of the human excretory system (urinary system, the lungs and a cross section of the skin).
5. create short video on excretion.
Process
Read the instructions carefully and complete your tasks.
1. You will do an online research on "What is excretion?" and "What happens during the excretion process in the human body?"
You will also define and note the following terms: kidney, ureter, urethra, urinary bladder, urinate, lungs, respiratory system, carbon dioxide, exhale, skin, sweat, sweat glands, pores
2. You will create a model of the urinary system, lungs and a cross section of the skin using whatever creative materials you wish.
3.You will then create a short video explaining each part of your excretory system created. You will tell the parts and function of the excretory system.
4. You will read pages 118-120 in the Grade 6 New Integrated Science Workbook for PEP.
Please watch this video of how the excretory system works for a better understanding.
5. You will then explain in details the process of excretion in a human body.
- This will be presented on a PowerPoint presentation with all the other information above (numbers 1-3) of the excretory system.
