Introduction
In grade 9, you learnt about the process of 'Digestion'. It is a system used in the body for the process of digestion. The human digestive system consists primarily of the digestive tract, or the series of structures and organs through which food and liquids pass during their processing into forms absorbable into the bloodstream. The system also consists of the structures through which wastes pass in the process of elimination and other organs that contribute juices necessary for the digestive process. You will need to be farmiliar with the organs of digestion.
Task
Task 1: Work in groups of 5 and try to find information about the process of digestion.
Task 2: Gather information about digestive organs and their locations.
Task 3: Find out what each organ's main functions are, and also find out the type and function of a substance, if any, each organ secrete.
Task 4: Each group will join another group to create 10 learners per group. The groups will then discuss what they have learnt, and will be given 5 minutes each to present their information to the class.
Task 5: Groups will select three people to present the information.
Process
Two members from each previous group will be selected to present the information.

Conclusion
By now you should have learned what the process of digestion is. You should have learned about all the accessory organs that are involved in the process of digestion. You should have also learned the functions of each organ in the digestive process.
