Introduction
Welcome to an exciting adventure while learning about the human body! You have been selected to join a team of scientists to investigate and become an expert on one of the human body systems. The information you find out about the human body will be shared with new members of our city’s Crime Scene Investigation team. The CSI team members will then use that knowledge to solve crimes in our city. Remember, the information you discover and present can help solve crimes!
This webquest focuses on seven of the body systems:
• circulatory system • digestive system • excretory system
• respiratory system • nervous system
• muscular system • skeletal system
These systems all work together to keep our bodies running smoothly and to keep us healthy and alive!
Task
You will be assigned a human body system to research. Your job is to create a slideshow presentation on your body system.
1. ALL WORK SHOULD BE IN YOUR OWN HANDWRITING AND IN YOUR OWN WORDS. I will know the difference.
2. Your google slideshow should be saved. Your completed webquest WILL NOT be accepted late, so make sure you get busy and you use your time wisely.
3. You are allowed to do research at home. Make sure you have your planning sheets with you each day in class.
4. You will submit your final slideshow through Google Classroom.
5. Have fun while learning!
Process
1. Find out what human body system you have been assigned.
2. Use the links found on the TEACHER'S PAGE below to do research and learn information about your human body system.
3. Take notes and answer the questions that are found on the planning sheet.
4. Use your notes and facts gathered to answer the questions about each section.

- Why do you think it is important?
3. At least one functions and parts slide answering the questions below
- What is the function/job of your body system? (What does it do or allow you to do?)
- What are the main parts of this system? (What are they? What do they look like? Where are they located?)
- What does each part do? How does it do it?
4. At least one interconnections slide answering the questions below
- How is your system connected to the other human body systems? (How do the systems work together?)
- Is there one particular system that your system is more closely connected to? (Does your system control another system or is it controlled by another system?)
- Why is your system important to the human body?
5. At least one fun facts slide answering the questions below
- What are some interesting facts about your system?
- What are some gross or cool facts about your system?
6. At least one diseases and staying healthy slide answering the questions below
