Introduction
Human anatomy is the scientific study of the body’s structures. Some of these structures are very small and can only be observed and analyzed with the assistance of a microscope. Other larger structures can readily be seen, manipulated, measured, and weighed. The word “anatomy” comes from a Greek root that means “to cut apart.”
Human physiology is the scientific study of the chemistry and physics of the structures of the body and the ways in which they work together to support the functions of life. Much of the study of physiology centers on the body’s tendency toward homeostasis.
Task
1. Pick two articles. The fist article will be based on the FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM while the second article will be based on the MALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM
Female Reproductive System: Structure & Function (clevelandclinic.org)
Male Reproductive System: Structure & Function (clevelandclinic.org)
2. Do a list in which the student provide the name of ANATOMY OR PARTS OF FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS.
3. Do a second list with the ANATOMY OR PARTS OF MALE REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS.
4.Complete quizzes.
a.Name the Anatomy and write the physiology of the female reproductive organs.
example : fallopian tube-Your fallopian tubes are an important passageway for an egg and a sperm to meet and for a fertilized egg (embryo) to make its way to your uterus. The health of your fallopian tubes impacts your fertility. Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes can make it difficult for individuals and couples to become pregnant.
b.Name the Anatomy and write the physiology of the male reproductive organs.
example: Testicles-The testes produce the male gametes and the male sexual hormones (androgens)
Process
1. Organize an outline with the reproductive organ systems,
- Functions and major responsabilities of the organ system.
- Structure and function of the organs in the system.
- Different types of tissues and cells in the organs.
2. Search in more detail of a disease of the female reproductive organs/system (Prolapsed uterus).
3. Determine the following:
a. Answer different questions about their organs system, male and female eproductive organs.
Example:
-What is the function of the Organ ?
- What is this system composed of ? (Tissues/Organs...)
- Describe the location of each components of the system.
4. The end product would be to create a Power Point presentation on an organ system and explain 1 disease that can affect this organ. Explanation of REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM-male and female

Conclusion
The human body is amazing and complex. The study of the anatomy and physiology of the human body provides knowledge that can be applied in different settings. The Reproductive sytem is very important. There are many diseases that can affect the work and function of the different types of system in the body. Anatomy and Physiology completes the knowledge of humans Biology.
