HOW TO SAVE OUR NATURE

Introduction

Did you ever think how much time is left until humans destroy nature and thus doom the living?

Did you know humans are the only species that change nature for the worse in irreversible means?

Are you doing your share to keep nature alive?

 

This Webquest will help you see how important nature and wildlife are.

 

Task

Finding out more about the ways to protect the environment !

Your task is to prepare a poster about the ways to protect the environment in groups of three using the web service Canva. You can benefit from the information given in the video. For the ones who do not know about Canva and how to use it, there is a tutorial video in the process step.

You are expected to prepare a poster with a good design and a strong message. You can either find a slogan from the internet or create one yourself. Make sure that it is visually attractive. Keep in mind that the pictures should be relative to the subject and not be overused.

Process

1) Watch this video about how to take care of the environment and answer the following questions : How to Take Care of the Environment - 10 Ways to Take Care of the Environment - YouTube

- Did the video make you realize the importance of protecting the environment?

- Which of these are you already applying? Why don’t you do the rest?

- Do you think these all are useful protecting the environment? If not, why?

- What can we do other than these?

- Are you worried about the environmental pollution?

4) After finishing your paragraph, go to https://www.canva.com/ to prepare your posters. Here is a link on required elements for your posters : https://www.anl.gov/education/guide-to-effective-poster-design

 

Evaluation

Your poster is going to be graded considering five elements which are: Required Elements, Labels, Graphics-Relevance, Attractiveness, and Grammar. See the rubric located at the bottom of the page.
