Introduction
The goal is to identify coins by their value and find the number of other coins needed to find the equivalent to another coin.
Task
Your job is to figure out how one coin's value may become similar to another. You will need to recognize our vocabulary words to help you learn the number of coins that are needed to have a similar value to another coin. You will also learn several different ways coins can be used to make a dollar. After learning more about the value of coins, you will try to match a coin's value to several other coins and see if it all adds up to the given amount.

Conclusion
Fantastic job! You have now learned different equivalent values of coins! It is easier to make a dollar when you have four quarters worth .25 cents each, but sometimes we don't have four quarters and need to find a different way to make a dollar. We can impress our friends and teachers here at school with what we have learned. Where are some places we can use what we have learned today? At school, using the school store is one example. Do you get money from an allowance, birthday, etc.? Let's continue to practice using money so we don't forget and explore how money works and what we use it for in our community.
