Task

Task 1:

The first task is for you to draw a picture of the pizza that you would like to create. This picture should be labeled with the ingredients you wish to use.

Task 2:

The second task is for you to type a paper about how exactly you will make your pizza. Your recipe must be clear enough so that someone else is able to recreate your pizza if they would like to. If you found inspiration for your pizza anywhere, link that at the end of your paper. You will turn your picture and paper on the day that you bring in your pizza.

Task 3:

The third task is for you to make your pizza!!! You will bring your pizza into the class so that we can see it and have a food party!

Tasks explained:

1. Draw out your pizza on a piz-za (piece of) poster board. Consider the shape you want your pizza to be. Use colors and labels. Also create a name for your pizza. Write this name at the top of the poster board.

2. Each of the following sections should be a paragraph in your report

-pizza recipe: how much of each ingredient you will use and how long will the pizza take to                           make, start to finish

-make a list of ingredients that you already have and a list of ingredients you will need to buy.              Include the estimated cost of the pizza

-after you make the pizza, reflect on your experience. What could have gone better? What will                    you do differently next time? Will you make this pizza again? Did the pizza taste like you                              imagined it would? If not, what did you imagine it to taste like?

3. Make your pizza! Have your parents help you create your dream pizza. When finished making the pizza, cut it into enough pieces for the class to share.
