How do you want to spend your day?

In the last class, we read about Hojin's day and talked about your own day.

Today, you will work together in groups to make a short-form video.

Imagine the best day and introduce with a short-form video!

Task

In this class, your goal is to create a short-form video that introduces your dream day.

Here’s what you will do:

  1. Work in groups to discuss and imagine what your dream day looks like.
  2. Use the expressions and vocabulary we learned in the last class to describe the day.
  3. Plan and write a script for a video showing the highlights of your dream day.
  4. Act out and record your script as a short-form video.
  5. Share your video with the class and vote for the most fun and creative one!
Process

Step 1: Watch

1. Watch the example video that Jingu introduces his dream day.

2. Look at the picture about the video and express it in sentences.

 

Step 2: Group Brainstorming

1. Share ideas in your group about the ideal day.

2. Plan the ideal day according to the following times:

  • In the morning
  • At school
  • After school
  • In the evening

 

Step 3: Writing

1. Choose some of the ideas from your discussion.

2. Complete the storyboard with your friends. Write a comment under each scene.

  • You should make at least 4 scenes.

 

Step 4: Short-form Video Production

1. Create a short video acting out your script by dividing roles among group members.

  • The video should include a voice reading the sentence that explains the daily routine.
  • e.g. Yejin has four classes a day. She has PE every day.

2. Share your video with your classmates.

3. Vote on the video that you think the most fun and creative!
