Introduction
Today you will use research to learn more about bullies and how to deal with them. You will use this information to create a presentation in which you share with the class the best ways to deal with bullies.
Task
Your task is to read the following articles and create a google slides presentation in which each slide has one RACE (Restate, Answer, Cite and Explain) response to each question. You will then present your findings to the class.
You will need to:
Read three articles and write a RACE response for each one.
Create a visual picture for each question (you may use or create a pie chart, like the picture in the introduction). In each response, you need to include a picture
Organize your responses into a Google Slides presentation
By the end of the Webquest, you will be able to
Know how the best ways to deal with bullies WITHOUT getting in trouble yourself!
Process
Step One: Read about the kinds of people who get bullied by reading "Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas teams up with anti-bullying Group" and complete the following RACE ticket:
Why do you think Gabby Douglas was bullied online?
Step Two: Read Dealing With Bullies and answer the following question
What are three things you can do to stand up to a bully?
Step Three: Go to a computer and watch "How to Deal With Bullying in School" and watch Molly's story about being blind and bullied.
