This assignment will give students opportunities to be creative while learning about the college's website.

Task
Students will learn how to create web quests and will get better at maneuvering around the college's website.
Process
Step 1: Students should read the assignment. Students should understand that they will be creating five scenarios with questions for other students to answer.
Step 2: Students should look at the example scenarios for the Knoxville Library.
Step 3: Students should skim through the article from Education World called "Creating a WebQuest/ It's Easier Than You Think."
Step 4: Students will take Cornell Notes (and show to the instructor as a separate assignment) on "What are the essential parts of a WebQuest?"
Step 5: Students may use Create a WebQuest to create their own web quests with the six parts.
Step 6: Students should make sure that they save their web quests.
Step 7: Students should create an answer key.
Step 8: In the next class meeting, students complete each other's web quests, check their answers, and evaluate their peer's web quests.
Step 9: Finally, each student puts the link information for his/ her web quest onto a Word document and submits this Word document into the drop box.
Evaluation
Students should read the rubric to see how their web quests will be graded.
Conclusion
Students should learn how to complete and how to create web quests. Also, students should get better at quickly finding answers to their questions regarding resources at Pellissippi State Community College.
