Introduction
History is one of the most important subjects in learning. why? Because what happened in our past has molded our present in future.
How do special events come in to place? Well because of people like you and I!
This includes people of the past and present. Like Martin Luther King Jr. fighting for the end of segregation, or President Barack Obama's Nobel Peace Prize for aiding the end of the war of Iraq by bringing home over 500,00 soilders.
Task
In this webquest I want you to research and write an essay of a person of the past that has made a big impact in history and what has changed since ! please refrain from using easy subjects such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I want you to search deep and find someone who your class mates can learn from and about. You WILL be presenting this in front of your class.
Process
You must use at least 3 sources and one must be from a book. the other two may be internet based but your paper must be cited and plagarism will not be tolerated. You may not use Wikipedia. This paper must be atleast 3 paragraphs of 200-250 words. BE ORIGINAL! you may get creative and even dress up as the person or bring in a board if you would like!
Evaluation
you will be graded by your citations, facts, grammar and creativity.
Conclusion
You have till Novemeber 8th to complete your paper as we will be doing our presentations on both Thursday and Friday.
