The students being taught are between the ages of 10-12 years old. Majority of them are capable of reading with understanding and give fair explanations about what they read or are taught. In the class there are twelve (12) males and thirteen (13) females. A satisfactory amount of students have been exposed to the subjects being taught including Physical Education and Sport. During an evaluation, it was noticed that most of the students have a combination of each learning style; visual, auditory and tactile and so the lesson is created to cater to all of the following.

This is the method of getting the auditory learns involved in the lesson. A video will be inserted in the PowerPoint which will provided reinforcement, which will be there to cater for the visual and auditory learners. Their will also be the use of images.

Utilizing Technology

The PowerPoint will be one of the main medium used transfer information to the students visually. Their will be videos to present information as well, this will be inserted in the PowerPoint and it will cater for two types of learner, we will get the students involved by allowing them to read from reach slide. With the help of Facebook this group was able to generate information on a system in which most, if not all students utilize daily. So, this will engage our students in the lesson through a medium they are familiar with.

Process

Required Learner Particpation

Students after being taught about the history and development of Netball, should be able to partake fully in the class activities assigned to them. They are as follow: Online test, class discussion and group activities. The test given, and class discussion is lead by the teacher, while the group work is done among the students. Students should be creative when presenting their group assignments. They can do this by either doing question and answer, true or false, matching the information to correct statement or even giving a summary of what they have learn in class. These group presentation or activities should be accessible for all students at the end of the class. Full cooperation from each student is required for a successful presentation.

Evaluation

Evaluate and Revise

At the end of the lesson it is important to see how attentive students were and to if they really got anything from the lesson taught today. The evaluation of the students may come from the online test that they took, seeing how attentive they were in class. The class discussion that they will partake in, seeing who is really interested in the topic or who was following along or wants to know more or even who shows any interest. Also the group presentation, taking a look at how well the students get along and work with each other.

Feedback from students is very important. Ways in which to get feedback is by asking questions and even point out persons to give a summary of the information taught to them. Bare in mind that this feedback process can be done at any time during the lesson not only at the end. It keeps your students on their toes. Also, objectives are to be me by the activities given to them. See if the students cope well with each other and if they were able to complete the task given to them. Also want to know if the students grasp the concept of the information delivered to them. Again, you will know this by how well the students did in the group work and individual assignments. Also, by noticing who takes part in the class discussion, and from the feedback they give to you.
