Introduction
Students will be creating a slide show presentation about any historical figure born from the years 1800-2000, who has had an impact on society.
Task
1. View this WebQuest.
2. Research about important people who have had an impact on society.
3. Find at least one good source you will use and cite for the presentation.
3. Create a 5 slide, slideshow about the person you've chosen.
4. Present the slideshow to the class with a 2-minute minimum and 5-minute maximum time limit.
Process
- First slide: Title page, photo of person, your name and the person's name.
- Second slide: Overview of the person's life with photos.
- Third slide- The main thing the person did that had an impact on society.
- Fourth slide- Fun Facts about the person.
- Fifth slide- Works cited
Evaluation
Students will be graded on the following criteria:
- Plagiarism
- Appropriate historical figure from between the years of 1800-2000.
- How well the presentation covers the persons impact on society.
- Time limit.
