Today you will be going on an artistic journey to evaluate what type of artist you are. You will explore the eras of artistic expression and what styles that have come and passed. You will pick one that you relate to the most and create a research article including artists with similar techniques.
Task

Research your favorite artists and artists with similar techniques

Create a Research Paper where you explain the unique techniques and how they are favorable to your artistic perspective

Draw an sample illustration showing your unique style

Have your Research Paper and Drawing Critiqued by a peer

Submit the Paper and Drawing to your Teacher

Once you have completed your research, you can start your drawing:
*use 18x24 multi-media paper provided in class
*don't be afraid you use color
*the mediums of crayons, markers, color pencils, or watercolor are available for this project at the art cabinets
