Introduction
Task
- You should be able to recognize the elements within a story.
- You will then research a movie or story of your own, and provide resources as if you were the educator and I was the student.
- You should have had fun 😊
Process
Step one: Watch the video and answer the following question (you can work in pairs if desired).

Step two: Answer the following questions in accordance to the video:
- Who is the main character?
- Who is/are the other main characters and what was their role within the story?
- Identify the setting.
- What are the major events that lead to the climax or main problem within the video?
- What is the climax?
- What are the major events that lead to the resolution of conflict?
- How was the conflict resolved?
Step three: Answer the questions as presented on the online sourced story and worksheet. Answer the questions on a word document. If you are working with a partner, then have a separate word document. Do not get worried about the written story as it is the same thing. If you have any questions, do not be afraid to ask.

The next step:
You must research any appropriate genre and create an informational document that you must present to the class. Basically, you will pick a story or short film and then provide the story elements and everything that goes into the story. Then at the end, you will ask appropriate questions that you had in regards to the short story or film you chose. This is an application of knowledge and will showcase how well you understand story elements. Do not be afraid to add artistic elements to the document or you may do it by hand. Ask any questions you may have, that is what I am here for.
Conclusion
On the word document you began, please provide me with an in-depth response to how you felt about this assignment. Do you think you have gained any valuable information/knowledge from this assignment? You will not be graded on what you say, but if you will be graded on whether you wrote in a separate area to record your response. Please provide any final thoughts or how you felt in regards to the actual video or reading. Did you think it was funny or interesting? What is your favorite movie?
