Calculate and record your personal target zone.
Step 3: Test It Out
Pick 3 physical activities (low, medium, and high intensity).
Examples: walking, bodyweight circuit, running, jump rope, biking.
Before, during, and after each, measure your heart rate using a smartwatch, fitness tracker, or pulse check method (15 seconds x 4).
Record your results in a chart.
Step 4: Analyze & Reflect
Answer these questions:
-
Which activity raised your heart rate the most?
-
Did you reach your target zone?
-
What would you change in your workouts to stay in your zone more often?
Step 5: Share Your Learning
Create a Google Slide, Canva poster, or short video with:
-
What heart rate zones are and why they matter
-
Your personal heart rate data
-
What you learned and how this will help you train better
-
At least one fitness goal based on your data
