Healthy Eating ( Go, Grow & Glow foods )

Introduction

                                        

 

 

Mrs. Jones came from a family that was very poor and to make matters worse, there were five other children other than her. It

was very hard for her family to provide for her and her siblings. When she became an adult she had a child of her own, she

promised herself that whatever the child want to eat, she will allow her as she does not what her child to go through what she

did when she was growing up.  Mrs Jones does not understand that she should introduce the child the three different food

groups, which will allow the child to become better developed mentally, physically and emotionally. Which will help her to Go,

Grow and Glow.

By the end of this webQuest all students should have a better understanding of 

1.  What are Go, Grow and Glow foods.

2.  How  Go, Grow and Glow foods benefits our body.  

3.  Why a moderate amount of each food groups need to be in our diet .

Conclusion

Based  on my extensive research  of  reading, research and online video, I have come  to the conclusion that  the categories of the three basic food groups  are of grate impotrance as  we need allof them  in order to have a  balanced diet.  We should ensure that  we do not have too much of one thing even if we think that is  a better categories out of the three. Go foods gives you evenery ,  grow foods allow  your brain and musules to develope and  glow food  helps you hair, nails and skin. Finally, all three food  groups are of equal importance.

 I am Camile Shaw, a third year student at the church teachers college which is located in Mandeville Manchester.  My area of specialization is at the early childhood level where I have been enrolled in the full time evening programme.  

  The content that  have  been focused on is from  the  integrated science what  focuses on the Go , Grow and Glow food ,this groups of foods  serves their individual purposes , as all come to gather to help us create a balanced diet .   Go foods gives us energy to  our daily activities, Grow foods helps our brain and macules to develop properly and the Glow food helps us with physical appearance.

  Also in this lesson there were a number of materials that were used such as online video and finally online work sheet that would be used as an evaluation tool.
