Introduction
Are you up for a challenge?
A varied balanced diet is an important aspect for teenagers as they need to feel energetic to deal with daily responsibilities. As you are aware of that, you have decided to create a breakfast club to encourage your peers not to skip this meal and suggest them healthier options that do also taste great.
So, are you ready to become an expert on healthy eating?

Task
The school needs your help!
You have been chosen to design a brochure to advertise your five-day balanced menu for the school´s breakfast club.
You will investigate what eating healthy means, what nutrients and vitamins are necessary for your body, what aspects you need to be aware of to keep a healthy weight and also what the term "eating disorders" mean.
You need to gather food information, answer some questions, investigate eating choices and cooking recipes and finally create your menu.
Are you ready for that? Good luck!
Process
How do you do it?
STAGE 1:
- Look up information in the internet about the topic. Create a register of the sites you have visited.
- Create a poster to adverstise your breakfast club.
- It should include the aim of the club, why it is necessary. It should also include the place, the dates and times and how to enroll in the club.
STAGE 2:
Your presentation needs to include the following information:
- An explanation of what a breakfast club is and the aim of the club.
- A breakfast menu
- The recipes of your breakfasts
- Dates and times of the breakfast club
- How to enroll in the club
STAGE 3:
You must prepare your presentation in Prezi, PowerPoint or any other tool you prefer.
STAGE 4
Now that you are a food expert and have a lot of information, you need to write a short essay individually (70-80 words).
You must include the following information:
- a short definition of what healthy eating means
- the dangers of not eating healthy
- how you keep a healthy lifestyle
- your opinion about healty lifestyle
Then upload it to the classroom.
