Module FOOD 2030: Food Decisions and Health

Introduction

In this unit students learn to prepare foods that help athletes to meet their training and performance nutritional needs. 

The objectives for this unit:

Objective 1

The student will describe the relationship between body image, wellness, healthy eating and active living

Objective 2

The student will describe strategies for achieving and maintaining adequate fod intake, according to Eating Well with Canada's Food Guide, and healthy active living, according to Canada's Physicl Activity to Healthy Active Livin

Task

Part A

Student will answer questions as presented in thier modules based on internet web searches provided. 

Part B

The student will prepare min of 4 recipes from the list of options below and the students will compare nutritional information from the homemade version versus the commercial version of the same product
