Looks like our parts of speech is lost again! We need to match the parts of speech and know how they work.
Grammar Grabbers, find your partner! And go on this amazing word adventure!
Task
In order to complete this activity you must find your partner with the proper part of speech card and pair.
Each group will link up and pair to the right part of speech and explain the function. You must put the part of speech in a sentence and provide examples. Three rounds of this game will be held the person that wins will receive a special grammar grabber prize!
Process
Step 1: Grab a note card from the middle table
Step 2: Find the note card that matches your part of speech
Step 3: To each other provide examples and explain the part of speech
Step 4: Find another group and see if they found the right pairing, if not help them out.
Step 5: The group that gets the most points receives a grammar grabber prize.
