Question 1
For this task, you will be required to summarize Act 1 and Act 2 - scene to scene and all the details must be included.
Your summary should include the following:
- You must summarize each scene of each act in details.
- Every incident of each scene must be stated.
- Indicate in the summary which scene and act are you summarizing.
- Do not write in bullet point form, write only in paragraph form.
- Your summary should be 290-340 words.
- At the end of the summary, do a word count and write them down.

Writing a Summary
For this assignment, you’re required to write a summary of the drama My Children! My Africa! by Athol Fugard. In this summary, you’re requested to write each and every important detail that happens in each scene. This is what you need to do:
- Provided below are Act 1 and Act 2 of the drama that you need to watch and summarize, scene by scene.
- Whilst watching the play, make sure that you jot down all the important aspects of the play.
- After all that, compile these notes to make paragraphs of 290-340 words all together.
- Anything more than this will not be considered.
- Do a word count at the end of your essay and indicate how many words you wrote.
