Introduction
In this chapter you will be given the choice of writing on three different topics with three different styles you can choose from. You need to think deeply and research about the topic or ideas as well as use your own personal history and knowledge to create a beautiful essay. You need to be able to create a picture with your words to tell a story that will entice the reader. Please use mindmaps, drafts and other methods to ensure that your essay is edited and planned properly before submitting.
Task
For this task you will write either a descriptive, reflective or argumentative essay. Your essay must be written with a font size of 12, aerial font and 1.5 line spacing. You need to type out your essay on MS word.
Your topics are as follows:
- How has covid19 affected your education, what positive or negative impacts has it caused. And how can your schooling and education system be improved.
-What childhood memory has affected you in a positive/negative way etc.
-What does destiny mean to you. Are you able to control it or not. How have you tried to change or control your destiny.
- A cover page with your name, surname, class and submission date
- The topic you have chosen for your essay
- A title for your essay
- A word count in brackets at the end of your essay of 400 words and a minimum of two pages. You may go 20 words less or 20 words over.
Do gather any information needed to write your essay and do not feel limited by your topic, use it as a guide as in what direction to go inorder to complete it.

Write either a descriptive, reflective or argumentative essay on the topics given on the task explanation. You need to set the tone and mood for your essay and be creative when doing so.
Resources
Please refer to your textbooks, google and any other resources in order to complete your essay. Research is key as well as drawing on your own personal experiences, thoughts and opinions Do use mind maps and drafts when doing your essay.
Evaluation
Conclusion
The essay will be 50 marks and you will have two weeks in which to complete it. Please remember it counts towards your end of year mark.
