Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to receive Him as personal Lord and Savior

What is the BEST DECISION you have made?

We make different kinds of decisions:

  • Simple or trivial
    • " Where we eat?" or " What to wear?"
  • Significant
    • " What career should I pursue?"
  • Life changing 
    • " Who do I marry?"

Today, you are about to make a decision that will impact you for ETERNITY  

4 important truths we must know:

1. God loves you and desires that you..

  • Have eternal life with Him
  • Have an abundant life with Him

2. Man has a sin problem that separates Him from God

  • Everyone has sinned
  • The penalty for sins is death
    • Physical death
    • Spiritual death or eternal separation from God

Note: Since sin separates man from God, What is the solution to this problem?

  • we often think that:
    • Religion
    • Good work
    • Good moral
  • are the solution.

But there is only one solution from GOD

3. JESUS CHRIST is God's only way to eternal life

  • He is the only way
  • He completely paid the penalty of our sins
  • His resurrection proves that He is the Son of God, the Messiah, the only Savior
  • He promises eternal life 

4. We must place our faith in Jesus Christ to save us

  • We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone
    • GOOD WORKS are not the means to salvation, rather they ARE THE EVIDENCE OF YOUR SALVATION
  • We show our faith in Jesus Christ by:
    • Accepting His gift of eternal life 
    • Turning away from our sins
    • Surrendering our lives to Him
  • God promised that you can know today that you have eternal life when you trust in Jesus.

Evaluation

This web-quest will be worth 30 points and the students will be judged on the following criteria.

Understanding of the Gospel		 10-8 points: Student clear definition of the Gospel. 7-4 points: Student somewhat understands the Gospel and gives an acceptable definition of the Gospel. 3-0 points: Student does not understand the Gospel and gives a poor definition.
Accuracy of calculations 10-8 points: Student answers 8-10 questions correctly. 7-4 points: Student answers 4-7 questions correctly. 3-0 points: Student answers 0-3 answers correctly.
Paragraph on real-world application of the Gospel 10-8 points: The student constructs a paragraph with a proper and clear explanation of a real-world application of the Gospel. At least 3-4 sentences 7-4 points: The student gives an example of a real-world application of the Gospel, but does not write a full paragraph ` 3-0 points: The student gives little to no explanation of a real-world application of the Gospel and does not write a full paragraph.
