Introduction

Setting goals, or resolutions is not just for New Year’s. It is important to have goals all the time. Some goals are daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and some are life goals. No matter what the goal is the important thing is to have a plan that will fit into your schedule and is reachable. After you set your goal there is thinking and planning that needs to be done. There are questions that need to be answered.

Task

In this WebQuest you will discover ways to organize you skills to better set goals for yourself. Visit each website and answer the questions provided for each. You will then write a summary paragraph, of 10 or more sentences, about what you feel is important to goal setting.

Process

TASK 1:

Read, or listen to, the “Five Facts About Goal Setting” on the following website.

On the lines below summarize, in your own words, what sticks out in your mind about each section. Write 2 or more sentences for each.

1) Specific, realistic goals work best.
